How much is the referral credit?
New customers get a $75 (incl GST) Friend Credit applied against the charges on their first Powershop electricity bill. If the first bill is less than $75, the balance carries over to the next bill.
Do I get cash or a bill credit?
It’s a bill credit, not cash. The $75 is applied as an offset against your Powershop electricity charges and can’t be redeemed for cash or transferred to someone else.
Which states is the offer available in?
Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and South East Queensland, on eligible electricity plans.
Am I eligible if I’ve had Powershop before?
Only if you haven’t been a Powershop electricity or gas customer in the last 12 months. The Friend Credit is for new customers.

Can the credit amount change?
Yes. Powershop sets the credit and can change it from time to time. For a limited time the referrer credit has been boosted to $100, but the figure you should rely on is whatever appears in the official terms at the time you sign up.
